INFINITE CURVES
To celebrate the 100 years of the Bauhaus Nottingham Trent University exhibited the students work amongst the work of famous artists such as Moholy-Nagy, Josef Albers and various artists from the Bauhaus in the Djanogly Art Gallery, Nottingham.
I was extremely privileged to have my art up next to these famous Bauhaus artists.
For this exhibition I created a typeface using Josef Albers as a starting point, after exploring different designers from the Bauhaus. This typeface explores form, physicality, and process of steel, that formed the basis of experimentation at the Bauhaus.
Process
A few pages from my sketchbook during the process.
